Problem solve issues with customized login process

We have a customized Wordpress login process that seems to be working fine.
When we implemented a captcha plugin, the login stopped recognizing user account/password for legitimate users. We believe the problem is related to the PHP for the custom login.
We are looking for someone to diagnose and solve this, and implement the captcha plug-in.
